Hooray! Someone else finally thought about the ramifications of "the cure" for more than five seconds (unlike virtually everyone else who does plot analysis of TLOU)! I've been saying this shit in RUclips comments for years. We KNOW a "cure" replicating Ellie's immunity wouldn't be effective (even if you could distribute it widely) because Ellie has been immune the whole time and she's still IN DANGER THE WHOLE TIME. Replicating her immunity doesn't solve any of the fundamental problems this long after the outbreak. There is no fixing the world at this point, humans can only adapt. The Fireflies are idiots with a savior complex who didn't think this through (much like the writers of the game.) The LAST thing you would do, even if you thought a cure could be effective, would be rushing Ellie into surgery and killing her. As the only immune, they need to study the shit out of her, alive. On a list of 50 things you would try, sacrificing her would be #50, not #1. Joel, conversely, may not have the smarts to deduce all this logically, but when he says to Marlene "Yeah, you keep telling yourself that bullshit" he is correctly INTUITING that the rosy scenario she's hoping for will definitely not play out. And this is why the "focus on the diagetics" argument doesn't pan, because when the gaping plot hole they're expecting you to ignore DIRECTLY UNDERMINES the premise of the game's most controversial, climactic plot point, there's no saving that story. The writers obviously didn't think about this long enough, or they would've crafted something that made sense. P.S. And I say all this as someone who loves TLOU 2.

Did Ellie Really Need To Die for a Cure? No! They could use her blood to create a vaccine or a cure. They don't need to kill her to create a possible cure or a vaccine. Even if the Fungus attack the brain. It still need to travel through the body to do so. So the Fungus still acting like a Virus, so it is not so hard to study it through blood samples.

I also like to point out the genius of his design, it’s obvious he’s a parody of old 50s sci fi heroes like buck Rodgers. To some it seems kind of pointless until you realize that just lik qwark in his prime buck was basically the best thing in the 50s. But much like the cowboys of the 40s he fell when something better came along.

I only ever played Syndicate, and then I only played the gang conquest portion. Once I got Jacob to level 10 and 100% London I didnt feel compelled to keep playing: mandatory stealth in games is one of my biggest pet peeves, AC combat is turn-your-brain-off easy, and the vaunted "parkour" just felt so slippery that I almost was tempted just to walk everywhere.

Christopher Daniel Barnes is so underrated man, and his Miguel was perfect. Josh Keaton Spidey isn't underrated but it also definitely deserves all the praise it gets. As an aside Yuri would probably be my 3rd place spot, Rino as an honourable 4th.

For applying patches to old pc games you have to put the patch exe into the games file directory and run it there for it to find the game files.

Leaders can be in that position for a variety of reasons. They are the most experienced, wise, or maybe they keep the group well organized. A leader or organizer does not necessitate that the members of the group not be free. I think a lot of this video makes the assassins' ideology a straw-man argument. But that is likely because, as you said, the exact details of what kind of system the assassins would like has not been expanded upon. I'm sure if some writer in modern times were to try, they'd make the assassins just have a really dumbed down ideology, so I'd rather they not touch that at all. It's better to leave it up to speculation rather than ruin it.

I loved the ultimate Spider-Man. Gameplay wise it felt really close to Spiderman 2, especially with the webswinging. The artstyle of the game was really cool too. I think they did an amazing job of bringing a comicbook to 3D. Easily one of the best spiderman games.

A variation system could be interesting as well. Like for Kratos he could have a Greek variant which has moves from the Greek era and a Norse era which focuses on his Norse game play. The blades of Choas would be in both.
